Braintree is Our Hometown
If you live in Braintree, you may know that the town was originally named Mount Wollaston. The area was incorporated in 1640 and was named after the English town of Braintree. The "North Precinct" of Braintree, which is now the bulk of the city of Quincy, was the birthplace of presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams, as well as statesman John Hancock. The town is part of the Greater Boston area and residents can enjoy shopping centers, a billiards hall, many restaurants and the parks of the city with their nature trails and bicycle paths.
